Mona Vadher (she/her)
A champion of social mobility and youth empowerment, with a career marked by impactful leadership and award-winning initiatives.
Mona is a passionate advocate for social equity and youth empowerment, with a career defined by purpose-driven leadership and tangible impact. Renowned for designing and spearheading transformative programmes, she has consistently elevated the confidence and employability of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, opening doors to brighter futures.
Her expertise spans diverse sectors, including higher education, the non-profit sector, government, and financial services. This wide-ranging experience has armed her with a unique perspective and the ability to foster powerful cross-sector collaborations that amplify social impact.
During her tenure at the City of London Corporation, Mona led a pivotal government-commissioned project to establish a taskforce aimed at enhancing socio-economic diversity at senior levels within UK Financial and Professional Services. Her leadership in this initiative has set new standards for inclusive and diverse leadership across the sector.
As the former CEO of LMP Action, a Community Interest Company (CIC), Mona inspired ambition in young people aged 8-16 from disadvantaged backgrounds. Under her guidance, LMP Action launched innovative programs that offered mentorship, skills training, and personal growth opportunities, profoundly transforming countless lives.
Mona’s unwavering dedication to social mobility has earned her multiple awards for initiatives within the higher education sector. These programs have not only enriched educational experiences but also paved pathways for young people to thrive in various professional fields.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mona serves as a trustee at ReachOut, a national mentoring charity, where she helps steer the organisation’s mission to guide and mentor young people. She also serves as a Governor at John Dewey Specialist College, where she contributes to the governance and strategic direction of the institution.
Mona’s career is a testament to her impactful leadership and relentless pursuit of social justice. Her work continues to drive systemic change, creating a more equitable and inclusive society while enhancing the prospects of individuals and communities alike.

Shanade is an experienced professional in early years and talent development, with a background spanning education, charity, and corporate sectors. Her commitment to social mobility and Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity began a decade ago as an English teacher, where she saw firsthand the gaps in career knowledge for disadvantaged youth. Shanade is dedicated to enhancing opportunities for young people and improving candidate experiences through her expertise in process analysis and budget management.

Laura Flynn (she/her)

Laura is a seasoned professional with a rich background in operations, events, and strategy development. Over a decade-long career, including roles as Director of Strategy and Planning and Chief Operating Officer at City University, she has excelled across education and social impact sectors. Laura specialises in stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and coaching, and is passionate about fostering inclusion, belonging, and equity within organisations.
Her notable achievements include leading large-scale events, mentoring early-career professionals, and delivering transformative workshops. As a careers coach and facilitator with 10Eighty in London, and Head of the SEND/PRU programme at WizeUp Financial Education, Laura creates impactful training programs and strategies that drive success. Her work reflects a commitment to operational excellence and a deep dedication to empowering others, earning her the National Mentor of the Year award from Career Ready in 2022.
Sophia Mousoulides (she/her)

Sophia is a seasoned project manager and dynamic speaker with over 20 years of experience in widening participation in higher education and the charity sector. A dedicated advocate for social mobility, she specialises in designing and managing programs that empower young people to reach their full potential.
With expertise in project management, event planning, partnership building, and employability training, Sophie combines strategic thinking with genuine empathy. Her leadership is defined by a commitment to social impact, whether she’s leading operations, mentoring, or delivering impactful workshops.
Lara Ayash (she/her)
Culture Expert | Strategy Development | Stakeholder Management | Transformation
Lara is a highly experienced management consultant with over 12 years in the field, including a decade with the Big Four firms—Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, and EY. Her extensive background provides her with a profound understanding of management strategies and consulting excellence, making her a valuable asset for driving organisational success.
She co-founded LADs Consulting, a dynamic, female-led team specialising in diversity, equity and inclusion (EDI), culture change, leadership development, and human capital transformation. Lara’s focus is on creating long-term impact by addressing systemic barriers to equity and fostering a genuinely inclusive environment.
